uTorrent is extremely light weight torrent client. It’s latest version 1.8.5 is about 280 KB in size. It’s also light weight in terms of system resources as it only uses not more that 5 MB of RAM. Even though it doesn’t mean that due to its small size it compromises on features. It is full of all features any other torrent client comprises. DHT and local peer discovery are its main features.
Recently introduced Web user interface is very useful and stable and works almost like program. You can get the detailed information about General, Trackers, Peers, Pieces, Files, Speed and Logger through the tabbed interface. uTorrent is skin able and it currently supports 49 languages which is quite helpful for those users who are not comfortable with English language and they can now use their native language.
uTorrent is one of the best torrent client and most of the torrents lovers will agree with me. It is full of features and that’ why the creator of this technology bought it in 2006 which is a proof that how magnificent this software is.
In my opinion, uTorrent is the best BitTorrent client. Other miss characteristic as a reproductive one integrated or a search engine of torrents similar to that of Vuze. But, if we keep in mind the fundamental objectives of a client P2P, uTorrent approves with registration of honor.
