Picasa 3.6 has improved name tags, a feature based on the same technology that powers name tags on Picasa Web Albums. With name tags, you can organize your photos based on what matters most: the people in them. In this new version, you can also upload photos to your friends’ collaborative albums, more easily geotag photos using Google Maps, and import photos from your camera and upload them to Picasa Web Albums in one step.

As of the first launching, a window of configuration announces the color. Picasa now has an independent Photo Viewer to traverse your images. Stripped and equipped with same qualities of speed and ergonomics, it replaces advantageously the equivalent function of Windows.

The bonds with the Web and the Picasa albums on line were also reinforced. You can from now on synchronize in a click the modifications executed on your computer and reach the parameters of your account without leaving the software. The operations of publication and division were also simplified to the maximum: a button is enough to put images online and to send invitations towards album.

Side of the functionalities of final improvement, the correction of the red eyes is now automatic and a tool similar to the plug of Photoshop makes its appearance. Lastly, you can now create films with your stereotypes directly from Picasa. Picasa is a true jewel, free in addition.
