phpMyAdmin is a free software tool written in PHP intended to handle the administration of MySQL over the World Wide Web. phpMyAdmin supports a wide range of operations with MySQL. The most frequently used operations are supported by the user interface (managing databases, tables, fields, relations, indexes, users, permissions, etc), while you still have the ability to directly execute any SQL statement.

phpMyAdmin is a tool written in PHP intended for the MYSQL database management.

Its convivial interface makes it possible to carry out the majority of the current operations on a database starting from a simple internet browser. It allows in particular creations of tables, insertions, the updates, the suppressions, and the modifications of structure of bases.

phpMyAdmin also includes a tool of safeguard and transfer which makes it possible to export a database file in .sql format. Lastly, it supports the formulation of requests directly in SQL language which makes it possible to test a database before the online setting of a site.

  5. Interesting guide. Been scouring the web for a simple to follow tutorial for handling date functions.

    PHP dates are difficult to understand properly.
