Trillian Astra, this new version preserves the spirit of the preceding one: an intuitive design facilitating the management of the contacts resulting from various networks (Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, etc)
The installation is a little long, because a complete assistant guides you step by step in the choice of you wish to connect yourself with other networks Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo!, MySpaceIM, AIM, Google, ICQ, Jabber, Skype, IRC, POP3, Facebook, and Twitter.
Trillian Astra shines by the modern and rather pretty aspect of its interface. This one can quickly become very charged if you have many contacts on several different services. Fortunately, it is possible to determine the networks which must take care with starting of the application, to mask temporarily certain lists or to amalgamate the contacts in order to have only one entry per anybody.
The unit appears rather practical with use, mainly if you are connected to several services. On the other hand, and it is a true handicap, Trillian proposes the PC calls on telephone and video conversations in its Pro version only but you can use these features free of cost for first 30 days, after that they deactivate.
New Trillian fits completely in the air of time by opening with the majority of mail services and especially with the social networks sites.
