DC++ 0.761 Beta

DC++ announces the freedom to share! DC++ is an open source client for Windows for the Direct Connect / Advanced Direct Connect network.
Direct Connect allows you to share files over the Internet without restrictions or limits. The client is completely free of advertisements and has a nice, easy to use interface. Firewall and router support is integrated and it is easy and convenient to use functionality like multi-hub connections, auto-connections and resuming of downloads.

Review:
Although not as popular as some years ago, the direct connect file sharing is still alive and kicking. And if you want a program safe and free from advertisement, the best option is probably DC ++.
Direct connect system works through hubs, like chat rooms in which users directly connect. Some are public, other private. Some have rules (as a minimum of gigabytes in sharing), others are free. On first use, DC ++ downloads an ample list of public hubs from a server and with a simple click allows you to connect to one that looks interesting.
DC ++ is a great software. Allows you to configure your connection settings, connect to more than one hub simultaneously, to resume a download interrupted in a previous session. Downloads by DC ++ are very fast, supports also download file segments and create bookmarks to your favorite hub or network users. In addition to downloading DC ++ allows you to chat with fellow Direct Connect network.
One drawback, DC ++ is not as user friendly as other P2P clients like LimeWire eMule or uTorrent, but still useful for data exchange.
