Dropbox 0.8.21

Dropbox

Dropbox is software that syncs your files online and across your computers. Put your files into your Dropbox on one computer, and they’ll be instantly available on any of your other computers that you’ve installed Dropbox on (Windows, Mac, and Linux too!) Because a copy of your files is stored on Dropbox’s secure servers, you can also access them from any computer or mobile device using the Dropbox website.

Review:

Dropbox is a free online storage service and seamlessly integrated with which you can synchronize and share photos, videos, music and documents between multiple computers. All you have to do is create an account on Dropbox website and use this client which creates the Dropbox folder on your computer.

Once you’ve created your Dropbox account, you get 2 GB of free space. If  you need more space, you have to purchase Pro version. You can associate one or more computers to your account and share your data by dragging or copying them to the Dropbox folder created by the program.

Thus, data is automatically synchronized with your online account and therefore is available to all computers associated with the account. You can also access the Dropbox service from any web browser and directly download the files from your account. There, the Photos subfolder to directly access a gallery and a slideshow of your pictures and public folder allows you to share files with others, whether or not they are registered in the service provided by Dropbox.

All synchronized data has additional protection because it is encoded with a robust algorithm. At the professional level, you can use Dropbox to share with your customers or partners through a secure, single access private data. Finally, Dropbox provides a version control system as well as a daily activity on your account with any modifications made to date.

Ultimately, this extremely easy to use online data storage service is a real alternative to classic methods of storage in external drives or USB drives. Try it to adopt it.
