Need to redefine the dimensions of multiple images at once? Save a long and tedious work using Photo Magician. In addition, this free utility allows you to convert resized images to popular formats such as BMP, JPG, GIF, PNG, TIF etc.
Photo Magician is very easy to use. Simply select the folder containing the images to scale, the destination folder and then choose from one of the many resizing profiles available in the drop-down list on the left. You can also manually enter the dimensions you want to give the images via the profile editor.
By selecting either of the options on the right, you can apply the new dimensions to the images in subfolders, overwrite the original ones, disable image preview, exclude images which are below some dimensions and finally convert them to the format of your choice. Click Process Images to start the processing. That is extremely fast and the results are very convincing. In our test it took just 26 seconds to resize 73 photos in 2576 x 1932 pixels. Finally, it is free and really convenient utility to resize and convert all images from a folder.
