Adobe Dreamweaver, the favorite web editor of graphic designers, arrives in a new version with minor but many improvements. It retains the same philosophy, with its WYSIWYG mode (What you see is what you get) to keep an eye on the code, another on the final rendering. Dreamweaver makes it easy to create complex dynamic web pages, with the known technique of drag and drop, allowing designers to create web environments without writing a single line of code.
Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 offers a series of new features intended to simplify the code: inspection of CSS classes, which highlights the style sheet to the passage of the mouse; integration of Adobe BrowserLab, to preview site in multiple browsers; and the integration of external frameworks to edit a site in WordPress, Joomla! or Drupal directly in Adobe Dreamweaver CS5.
For not overloading its software, Adobe has added additional features in the form of extensions to download for free. These include the Business Catalyst, a layer to create a website without any knowledge in HTML or PHP development. Interface has changed little since the previous version: it offers ten different workspaces. Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 also have the advantage to be perfectly integrated into the Premium suite Web CS5 (alongside Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash Pro), to take advantage of all these software to create a site for the best possible.
Despite these advances, it is likely that critics find some disadvantages in Dreamweaver CS5 than previous versions: a inflated program that includes more features, but that tends to dirty HTML code. For graphic designers and accustomed to Adobe products, Dreamweaver CS5 probably is the best solution for creating and editing dynamic web sites to render impeccable.
