SpywareBlaster is a security application to immunize your computer from spyware and other malware threats while you surf the internet. The program works basically with Internet browsers such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Flock, AOL Browser, Maxthon, Avant Browser and more.

Browser Protection

The web is immense and also a great number of pests that threat us. Often, when opening a website you expose your computer at risk. The SpywareBlaster is an automated tool for active protection that keeps your PC protected against various pests.

Program settings allow you to block malicious items hidden in Flash elements and ActiveX controls. “Protection Status” tab is responsible for the activation of protection against pests present in cookies, in addition to blocking access to suspicious websites. There are varying cookies and websites list and you have the option to block any of them.

Restore Point

For those who thought creation of windows restore point a complicated task, the SpywareBlaster demystifies this information and makes available to the user a simple and efficient way to accomplish this task. In “System Snapshot” tab you can create and subsequently restore a system restore point.

Like everything else in the program, this task is also done automatically. Select the option “Create new System Snapshot” and then click “Go”, give a name for the new restore point and then start clicking “Create snapshot”.

To restore, the process is similar. Select the option “Restore System to Saved Snapshot Point”, select which should be restored and click “Next”. This process is a little slow, however, one of the best alternatives when any problem occurs after you install or delete a file, because it restores your computer to a point where everything worked correctly.

Tools

The “Tools” tab serves only to those who use the Internet Explorer browser. Unfortunately the SpywareBlaster does not yet have complete compatibility with other browsers like Firefox, Chrome and Opera.

Through this tab you can configure items related to pages, enable extra functions, create encrypted versions of backups, disable Flash content and downloads and also block ActiveX controls in IE.
