Microsoft Small Basic 0.9
BASIC programming language was invented in 1964 for the purpose of instruction by John George Kemeny and Thomas Eugene Kurtz. The name BASIC is actually an acronym for Beginner’s All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code. This is the language that has more variations than any other, ranging from the BASIC original until the famous Visual Basic.
Microsoft Small Basic is a simple but very useful tool. Even people who never had contact with the structure or with codes in this language can do full programming using the capabilities of the software.
The Interface
Interface is very simple and didactic because the application is targeted to the more layman audience. On the main screen of the program the user finds the taskbar with the basic options and a window displaying a blank document so you begin programming.
The taskbar contains basic commands such as New, Open, Save, Save As, Import, Publish, Cut, Copy, Paste, the famous Undo, Redo and of course Run so you can test your program.
Learning the Program
Although it is easy to use Microsoft Small Basic that requires the user has a good grasp of programming, logic and concepts such as repeating loops and conditional structures. By understanding the basics of these requirements, you can create any application using this program. Just drop the imagination.
When you start typing anything into the blank document, the program quickly shows you which commands are typed and if not enough, tips besides the column teaches how to use the selected function and also the syntax. This makes it much easier, don’t you think?
The screen that shows the possible functions of the language is modern and supports full zoom, effects and movement. Much benefit from Microsoft Small Basic and create your own applications. Don’t let pass the opportunity.
