There are several good applications to cut and edit music files, however, most are paid ones. mp3DirectCut is a complete program, which alters your MP3 files without paying anything for it.
At first glance, program may seem very confusing because its interface is not at all intuitive. But after several minutes of use, you can find everything you need. Select “File” and “Open” to choose the file you want to edit. User can fast forward or skip parts of the audio, as well as use the zoom to make more precise cuts.
Under “Edit” menu, you can cut, edit and set the start and end of music. In “Audio”, you can hear the selection eliminating two or four seconds (before or after the selected piece of music) as well as play back the file to verify the result. mp3Directcut also offers functions of “Fade in” and “Fade Out”, which subtly diminishes the volume of music at the beginning or end, so that does not seem to be a rough cut.
