YouSendIt Add-In 1.1
Virtually every computer user knows the anguish that a data transfer can become. Like most email services have a limit of 10 MB for attachments, sending large files could be a real headache. YouSendit add-in can be of great help. With the interconnection, the hosting of large files is facilitated and emailing is done automatically.
The process was reduced by half with YouSendIt add-in, plugin for Office that connects applications to the Microsoft site storage and allows files to be sent directly from the application in which the user is working. The extension is compatible with 2003 and 2007 versions of the package. After installation, “Send by YouSendit” option appears in “Send” list. Just click to be taken to a wizard that asks login and password. If you do not have an account, click Sign-up to be taken to the registration page and fill the little requested information.
The application’s interface resembles an email client. Fill out the address of the recipient, subject and if desired, also write a message. At the bottom of the screen, click “Add Files” and add the file you want to send. After that you press “Send It” to send. The application will upload and send you an email with the download link soon after.
With a free account, Yousendit accepts files up to 100 MB and allows them to be downloaded more than 100 times, but the links expire in seven days. The paid versions of the service extend these limits and have greater storage capacity. Premium accounts cost $9.99 and $14.99.
