How to Enable the Quick Launch Toolbar in Windows 7
After installing Windows 7, I was quite surprised to know that there is no Quick Launch Toolbar. But I found a way to get back it to the Windows Taskbar. In this tutorial I’ll show you how to add Quick Launch Toolbar in Windows 7. Follow the steps:
- Right-click on an area of the taskbar and choose Toolbars > New Toolbar.
- Doing this will open a window asking you to choose the folder
- Type or copy the location below and click “Select Folder” button.
%userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch
You will immediately notice Quick Launch bar on the taskbar, but located on the right side. So you have to click on the dotted lines and then drag the bar to left. Please note that you need to right-click and unlock taskbar before you can move the toolbar.
I hope it was so useful for you as it was for me.
