IMBooster 3.33.0
IMBooster is compatible with Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo Messenger that lets you further enhance your conversations. A simple and unobtrusive sidebar is inserted in your chat windows and allows you to access dozens of emoticons, display pictures and video to interact with your contacts.
After installing IMBooster, several new functions appear at the top of the main Messenger window, how to make emoticons from a picture or video, as well as to create winks from videos. The chat windows are also augmented with new options at the bar just above the place where you type messages.
Nudges
Nudge is a more powerful version of the Nudge feature, an option that shakes the screen to draw attention. Now, you can ask as many times as you want to get attention and further harass your contacts.
Create Your Own Emoticons
Another feature of IMBooster is to allow users to create custom emotions using videos. Just access the option bar, send your video or start shooting from the camera. Obviously, you can also insert new emoticons from images, as already happens in Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo Messenger.
Avatars
Besides all these functions, in “Mood Avatars” IMBooster gives users the option to use animations in your display picture. There are all kinds of avatar and you choose from one of nearly 20. Depending on the emoticon used, there are eight different animations that will add more fun to your conversations.
Buddy Bubbles
It’s a really cool feature, just enter the text in the conversation and before sending, click on the Buddy Bubbles on the left side of the screen. There are 10 choices of different characters, each representing a feeling of anger, madness, sadness, happiness, passion, among others. When you choose, the message is sent into the balloon with the character you selected earlier. The best part is that the other person doesn’t need IMBooster to have installed. It is certainly one of the most interesting features of the program.
Winks
IMBooster brings more than 30 new winks. Animations are funny, some with expressions of love, hate, funny things and many others. There are also several jokes; one simulates a virus with all black screen, ready to format your computer.
Watch TV with Friends
There is a new function in the program; an online television. By clicking the “Watch TV”, an independent floating window is open and you can invite anyone to watch TV with you (only condition is that they have IMBooster installed too).
First, you choose one of the categories such as entertainment, education, cartoons, movies, music, news and sports. Then, it lists all available channels for the chosen category including some famous, like Fox and Cartoon Network.
Attention!
When installing the program it asks if you’d like to install IMBooster Toolbar in your browser. To avoid this, uncheck the box and press “Next” to proceed with the installation.
