Online radio and music streaming is more popular than downloading. Streaming causes the user to dispense the tedious process of download file on their PC and can go straight to the point that matters; listen to music. However, for many this is still not a reality. Services like these require a good Internet connection, something that is not always available. Additionally, if you are somewhere without access to the network, your songs will be away from you, when you need them.
If you use two applications or services to get downloads and streaming, you will like to know that it is possible to unite both of them in just one application. This is MusicFrost, which allows the user to download or just listen to the available shared files. MusicFrost is a lightweight application. After you download it, simply double-click on the executable file and follow the step-by-step installation. A shortcut icon is created on the desktop.
The application interface resembles the P2P sharing software programs. To use it, simply enter the name of artist or music in the “Search” field. The results are listed with three options; Download, Play and Get MP3 link. By clicking the first download option you download the file. The second option of play turns the application into a music player. At the top of the screen there is an option “Play Next Song” which, when enabled, run whenever the next track list automatically. The last option of get MP3 link lets you share the URL of a file, which can only be executed by the application.
