WikiLeaks Founder Assange Arrested In London
The founder of WikiLeaks, Julian Assange was arrested this morning by the Metropolitan Police of London, England. In note published by the “Guardian”, English police confirmed the arrest of 39 years old Australian.
Julian Assange is accused by the Swedish Justice of sexual abuse and rape of two women supposedly committed in August this year. An arrest warrant of Assange was issued on 18th November, but the action was invalidated by a procedural error. A new warrant was issued on 2nd December. According to his lawyer, he is eager to know exactly what the charges against him are.
