Dr.Web CureIt! is a great tool which allows you to scan your computer to detect any kind of threats such as viruses, spyware, adware, worms, backdoors, and various other forms of malware. And all this without having to install anything, just download and run.

Another novelty is that the application automatically detects the default language of the operating system used on your computer and displays the options and other callouts in the same language. Moreover, the fact that it occupies very little disk space is also highlighted.

A simple interface consists of a small screen with two options: Start and Update. The first option allows to start scanning the system for threats, while the second to download the latest version of Dr.Web CureIt!. To start looking for pests, just select the desired checking type (Express, Complete or Custom) and press the “Play” button. You can also monitor the progress of the scan and, if the program finds any kind of threat, you can choose whether or not disinfect the infected files. Clicking “Yes to All”, all pests found in the search are eliminated without warning. At the end of the inspection, a small report is displayed, showing all the problems encountered.

Although there is no need to install the program, just run it to begin work. With CureIt! real-time protection as with other installed Antivirus can’t be obtained. Thus, it is recommended to keep an Antivirus installed and keep Dr.Web CureIt! as an additional layer of protection.

Despite having several strong competitors, Dr.Web CureIt! remains firmly in the hunt. Daily updates and the fact it takes up little disk space are the major attractions of the program to the user’s eyes. The efficiency of the application, however, is what really impresses as it detects threats that other antivirus programs and defense let through.
