MusicDog is a free program based on Adobe Air that allows you to listen to thousands of online songs, share them in social networks and even download free music to your computer.
To use the MusicDog, first you need to create a free account on MusicDog website. In the first run of the program, you need to login with account details that you created to access the program. To find your favorite music, you must use the MusicDog search field. Type the name of the song, album, artist, band, etc …, press “Enter” and then the program will display the list of results. Double click on a song from the list of results to play it. To download a song, right-click on a song and choose the Download option.
The playback control at the bottom of the MusicDog interface provides all the basic commands, such as the play, pause, previous, next, repeat, shuffle, volume buttons and a progress bar. To create a playlist, click the option “+ New Playlist” and enter a name for your playlist. To put the songs in the playlist, you can drag a song to your playlist. MusicDog also allows you to listen to dozens of online radios. Available radio stations are displayed along with a description, genre and popularity. To listen to online radio, double click it.
MusicDog offers option to see the lyrics of the songs, share your music on social networks like Facebook and Twitter, see the list of the most listened to songs and interact with other users of MusicDog. As it is based on Adobe Air, MusicDog is compatible with Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X and Linux, in addition to having a version for iPhone. The only requirement is to have the Adobe Air installed on your computer.
