My Movie Library 1.0.1049
My Movie Library is a free program that offers a very simple way to catalog your movies. It automatically fills all the data about the movies from the IMDB website. To run the program for the first time, it prompts you to create your list of movies. Movies can be added in two ways, by typing the name of movie or specifying a folder with the movies. To add the movies from the film’s title, click the button “Add Movie” on the toolbar. In the open window, type the title of the movie and click the “Search” button to search for the movie in the IMDB website.
If the search at IMDB returns only one result, the program will fill in all the information about the film in the right-hand pane of the window. Then, click “Add” to add it to your list of movies. Otherwise, it will display all results found. In this case, select a name from the list and click the button “Get info” to fill out the information in the right pane of the window. Among the information filled in automatically by the program from the information retrieved from IMDB are the cover of the film synopsis, year, actors, Director, classification, duration etc.
After you find the movie you were looking for, click “Add” to add it to your list of movies. Similarly you can add all your movies from this window. The other option is to add movies using the button “Add Folder”. Just specify all folders where you keep your movies and it will locate, identify and add your movies automatically. Movies added this way can be executed directly from My Movie Library. Simply select the movie you want to watch and click “Play Movie” to play it in the default media player.
On the main interface of the program you can find your list of movies with basic information like name, genre, actors, Director, etc. Selecting a movie list you can view more information. On the main interface you’ll find options for editing the information of the movies, search by movies, delete a movie list, plus options for backing up and restoring the list of movies.
