Camera Mouse is a free program that lets you control your mouse with movement of your head. It detects the movement of your face via webcam and moves the mouse on the screen according to your movements.
Camera Mouse was initially created to help people with disabilities to use the computer. With it you can use different programs, browse internet as so on. To use the Camera Mouse, all you need is a computer with Windows 7, Windows Vista or Windows XP and a webcam, which can be a webcam embedded in the monitor or USB webcam. Camera Mouse configuration is simple. First you install it on your computer then turn ON your webcam. Naturally, the webcam must be pointed out to you. Then, click on the image and select the area of your face that will be used to track mouse movements. You can use your nose, eye etc.
To choose the area of the face that will be used to track movement, a small green square will appear. Now, when you move your face, the mouse pointer is moved on the screen according to your movement. To click something, simply hold your mouse cursor stopped on the spot by 1 second. To return control to the mouse, you can simply move the mouse or press the scroll lock key or Ctrl key and the Camera will stop tracking mouse movements of your face.
