The search feature allows you to quickly find the information you need, even if you have hundreds or thousands of contacts. You can also set reminders for birthdays, print contact cards and envelopes, postcards, send e-mail, open web pages, find the address of a contact in Google Maps, initiate calls via Skype, import and export your contacts, etc.
