The benchmark programs are used to evaluate the performance of a computer and compare the result with other PCs of equivalent configuration. These programs make a series of tests on components such as processor, memory, video card and hard drive to calculate the overall performance of your PC.
Auslogics Benchtown is a free benchmarking tool for Windows that allows you to evaluate the performance of your computer and compare the result with friends and other users of the program. Auslogics BenchTown performs numerous performance tests on the computer including the performance of the processor, RAM, video card and hard drive and at the end gives a score of classification based on overall performance of the computer.
The program has a clean and easy to use interface. To run the test on your computer, all you need to do is click on the button “Rate Now”. The test takes less than five minutes to complete and you can follow the assessment of each component as the tests are performed. Once completed, it displays the final result based on the performance of the hardware components tested. It shows distinct values for each hardware tested and the total score of your computer.
By clicking on the button “Compare with Friends” you upload your result to the Auslogics Benchtown site, where you can compare the performance of your computer with friends and other users. Auslogics Benchtown also provides system information. Clicking on the “System Information” option, displayed in the side menu, it gathers detailed system information and displays it in a format that is easy to read.
