Try the new Google interface optimized for tablets
Google pays attention to the fundamental role of the new tablet devices and in an effort to improve the search experience, launched an optimized version for tablets. Among the enhancements, the layout of search results has been simplified and has also increased the size of the viewing area results.
“We’ve simplified the layout of the pages of search results and increased the size of page content, such as text, buttons, and other targets of touch to make it faster and easier to browse and interact with search results in portrait or landscape,” said Xiaorui Gan, Software Engineer at Google.
The internet giant has also demonstrated its new layout for displaying the results of images, including expanded infinite scroll bar and an optimization of loading of the thumbnail images. The changes are available on the iPad and tablets with Android 3.1 (or higher) in 36 languages.
