Apple launches iCloud Beta
Weeks ago Apple released Mac OS X Lion and for the next few months awaiting the arrival of iOS 5 with iCloud. This new platform offers versions based on the website of various products, such as iWork, Calendar, Mail, Contacts, and Find my iPhone. Still not available several of its main features, but for the moment there is enough material to test the possibilities of this project.
It is worth highlighting that you must have an Apple ID to enter this service, although in some countries registration is required in the community of developers to log in. Another thing to mention is that the Apple released pricing scheme to acquire extra space in the cloud. The first 5 GB will be free but the addition of 10 GB will cost $20; for its part the addition of 20 GB will be priced at $40, while to get 50 GB will have to pay $100.
According to data collected on the web, who tested iCloud noted several aspects similar to MobileMe. Generally the service seems to work very well, although some users of Mac OS X Lion showed problems in accessing the shiny Apple platform.
