Safely and quickly hide files and folders with WinMend Folder Hidden
Want a quick and secure way to hide your files and folders? WinMend Folder Hidden is a free tool that allows you to quickly hide files and folders on your hard disk or flash drive.
When running WinMend Folder Hidden for the first time, it prompts you to create a password of at least 6 digits, to prevent unauthorized users to unlock the files and folders that are hidden. To hide files and folders, drag and drop files and folders that you want to hide to the interface of the program or click “Hide Folder” or “Hide Files” to hide them.
To make the hidden files and folders visible, run WinMend Folder Hidden, enter password, select the files and folders that you want to unlock and click the “Unhide” button. The hidden files and folders are not visible on your computer. The only way to access them is by typing the password that was used to hide them.
However, note that if you know the password that is used to hide the files and folders, you can access them from any computer. This can be especially useful if you hide files and folder inside a flash drive.
